Great Southern Homes, one of the largest homebuilders in the Southeast, has entered into a definitive merger agreement with Diamondhead Holdings, Corp., a special purpose acquisition company with $345 million in trust. Upon closing of the merger with Great Southern, DiamondHead (NASDAQ: DHHC) will be renamed United Homes Group and trade under the new ticker symbol “UHG.”
